Learn More

Learn More provides a short overview of the site for specific questions please go to FAQs or email us at info@bcre8ive.eu

Joining the site has two parts to it.

1. Registering on the site which requires you to confrim your email address having submitted it to the site

2. You are then asked to upload an artefact, something you have created.  You can do this in four different ways.

a. As an individual who wants to work initially alone on their own project

b. As part of a team/group who want to work together on a project

c. As an individual seeking to find a group to work with on your project

d. As an individual who does not have project but woudl like to join other people's projects - via the Talent Pool

NOTE: You can upload as many projects as you like, and be in the Talent Pool as well as working on projects.

All four routes lead to the free MASHUP part of the site.

In the MashUp you may hire a Mentor to help you with your project.

If you wish to submit a project to one of the BCre8ive Labs, or 'A Place Like Settle', you need to move from the MASHUP to the WORKSHOP part of the site> This involves hiring a MENTOR, who has to approve your portfolio of work - a dramatic world - before it will be shown to the companies in the BCre8ive LAB.  See BCre8ive Partners  on the landing page for details of current LAB companies.

If you prroject is selected by one or more companies for the LAB, you will be invited into the LAB for three months company support, along with your Mentor.  The aim of the LAB is for the Companies, including Settle Stories, to develop your project into a commercail proposal, which they will be able to fund or raise finance for.

At the end of the Lab the companies have six weeks to make an offer to you for using some part of your work, which they have helped develop.  If at the end of this period no deal is possible then all the IP rights remain with you/your group and BCre8ive.

Throughout this period, and after any LAB, all projects may be supported by BCre8ive and their crowdfunding partnes, Crowdshed, to raise funds for a project.

The following onformation prtovides the context for our work at BCre8ive.

Bcre8ive has been built at a time when the landscape for creative talent is in flux. In order to help you understand this situation and our commitment to talent we are listing here organisations and documents which provide a context for all of our work.
